Description

INTRODUCTION

Genuine Yenko thrills for a fraction of the cost! Frame off restored, and they got all the details right, from the stripes and spoilers to an authentic 427 engine from 1969. Only difference from the original is the 5 speed manual transmission, which is a much appreciated upgrade. And of course the striking colors speak for themselves. This is the one you've been waiting for!

EXTERIOR

Isn't it pretty? It was repainted in it's factory correct LeMans blue paint that was applied beautifully, then polished to a smooth and reflective finish. The white striping on the hood and side really pop nicely and replicate the signature Yenko aesthetic. Front and rear spoilers greatly enhanced the car's profile. The steel cowl induction hood is lined up very nicely as are the rest of the body panels. The doors open easily and close with minimal effort. 427 and Yenko emblems adorn the hood fenders and tile panel. It's equipped with dual side view mirrors. Many pieces of bright work have been replaced and have a nice shiny finish. The front windshield and rear window were both replaced, just like the rubber seals and strips were. It's rolling on a set of 15” American racing Torque Thrust wheels with a gray finish just like many of the Yenkos came with. The car now has a new set of Cooper tires.

INTERIOR

The colors matter! This is a factory correct Ivory colored interior per the cowl tag. You'll first notice the door jams are painted nice and glossy with new weatherstrips too. It has all new upholstery on the seats, door panels, armrests, and headliner. The dash is an authentic reproduction with a fresh pad, bezels and trim panels. It does have the really cool center mounted fuel gauge because it's equipped with a tachometer as well. The radio and climate controls all look stock and in great condition. A triple gauge was mounted under the dash for practical purposes. Even the knob matches on the lighter and the glove box liner was replaced. There is sound deadener under the fresh carpeting and the kick panels were replaced. An upgraded Hurst 5 speed manual shifter sits proudly between the freshly cushioned bucket seats. Both front seats also have Yenko logos on the headrest plus it has seatbelts front and back. The rear shelf was replaced and the dome light also works.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT

Genuine 427 from 1969! The builder really put extra effort into authenticity under the hood. It's complete with authentic big rectangular port GM aluminum heads, GM aluminum intake manifold, correct dual feed Holley carburetor that has an upgraded electronic choke. The Yenko finned aluminum valve covers and functioning single snorkel air cleaner really round off the unmistakably authentic look. It even has the correct curved neck radiator and GM stamped hoses too. The horns and squirters are hooked up. The brake master cylinder and power booster have been replaced.
